Mathfolis

Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-05-15

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Teolemma (the "Company") and members in relation to the use of the Mathfolis service (the "Service").

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the Mathfolis service operated by the Company, the rights and obligations of members and the Company, and other necessary matters.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. Service: the Mathfolis website operated by the Company and all AI-based AP Calculus learning features provided within it.
  2. Member: a person who has entered into a service use agreement with the Company and uses the Service.
  3. Access Pass: a digital content usage right purchased by a member to use the Service for a fixed period. It may be used only for the designated services on the site.
  4. Validity Period: the usable period specified at the time of access pass purchase.
  5. Reseller: a business that, under an agreement with the Company, sells the Company's access passes to buyers in its own name. The reseller for the international payment channel is Lemon Squeezy (Sold through Link, LLC, formerly Lemon Squeezy LLC, and its affiliates).

Article 3 (Provision of the Service)

  1. The Company activates the access pass immediately upon a member's purchase, and the member may use AI-generated AP Calculus problems and ancillary features on the site during the validity period.
  2. The Service is in principle provided 24 hours a day, year-round. However, it may be temporarily suspended due to the Company's circumstances, technical failures, or failures of the payment gateway, the reseller, or cloud infrastructure.
  3. The Company may change or discontinue certain features, after prior notice, to improve service quality.

Article 4 (Use of Access Passes)

  1. An access pass may be used only during the validity period specified from the payment date; usage rights automatically expire when the validity period elapses.
  2. An access pass may be used only by the member who purchased it and may not be transferred to others.
  3. The Company may set a daily generation limit for each access pass product, and such limit is specified on the product page.
  4. The Company may adjust the daily generation limit according to its operational policy, after prior notice, for stable service operation.

Article 5 (Membership Registration and Accounts)

  1. Membership registration is established when a person applies in the form prescribed by the Company and the Company approves it.
  2. Members must use their own email address. If a member registers with false information or another person's information, the Company may revoke membership.
  3. Members are responsible for securely managing their account information, and the Company is not liable for damage arising from negligence thereof.
  4. Children under the age of 14 may not register without the consent of a legal guardian.

Article 6 (Payment and Refunds)

  1. Domestic payments (KRW): the Company is the seller, and payment is processed through a payment gateway (PG provider) designated by the Company.
  2. International payments (USD): the order process is conducted by the Company's reseller, Lemon Squeezy, which is the seller (merchant of record) — Lemon Squeezy enters into the sale contract with the buyer and charges the payment. In this case the counterparty to the payment is Lemon Squeezy rather than the Company, and the receipt and payment records are issued in Lemon Squeezy's name.
  3. Paragraph 2 does not affect the rights and obligations of the Company and the member regarding use of the Service, which remain governed by these Terms. The Company is responsible for providing the access pass, its validity period, the daily generation limit, and responding to service enquiries.
  4. Refunds are processed in accordance with the Refund Policy attached to these Terms, and are made to the original payment method. For international payments, the refund is executed by the seller, Lemon Squeezy.
  5. Domestic (KRW) access pass prices include value-added tax (VAT). For international payments (USD), tax is determined by the seller according to the tax law of the buyer's country of residence, so tax may be added on top of the displayed price depending on the country. The final amount payable is shown at checkout.

Article 7 (Member Obligations)

Members must not engage in the following:

  • Stealing others' information or registering false information.
  • Using the Service for commercial purposes without authorization or reselling it.
  • Interfering with the normal operation of the Service (mass requests using automation tools, attempts to breach the system, etc.).
  • Infringing the copyright or other rights of the Company or third parties.
  • Acts that violate applicable laws or these Terms.

Article 8 (Company Responsibilities)

  1. The Company continuously strives to improve the quality of AI-generated problems. However, due to the nature of AI, some problems may contain errors or incorrect answers. The Company is not directly liable for learning outcomes arising from such causes.
  2. The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure such as natural disasters, payment gateway or reseller failures, or communication failures.

Article 9 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. Disputes between the Company and members are, in principle, resolved through mutual consultation.
  2. If consultation fails, the matter is handled in accordance with applicable laws and the mediation of the Korea Consumer Agency or the Electronic Commerce Dispute Mediation Committee.
  3. The court of jurisdiction for any litigation is the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office.

Article 10 (Privacy)

Matters concerning the processing of members' personal information follow the Company's Privacy Policy.
